Polybutenes

Polybutenes are clear, water-white, aliphatic polymers characterized by their viscosity and molecular weight. Among the polymer’s unique properties, they are organic-soluble, hydrophobic, non-corrosive, and display excellent oxidative stability.

Polybutenes can be used as an intermediate in a wide range of applications, including lubricants, gear oils, polymer modification, two-stroke engine oils, greases, tackifiers, sealants, adhesives, coatings, stretch film, adhesives, agrochemicals, and personal care.
